Portfolio

Well after months of working on it I finally have my portfolio site up and running. Heck it even covers prices! It's nothing fancy but for now it works.

Over this next year I will be working more with branding, marketing and working myself all over the globe. (Seriously why work only local, I want to be all over the place.) I just need you to keep following and speaking about me and my work.

In the next few days I will have a new look for this blog as well so check back soon and I can't wait to work with you this year!

Lang Family

The Lang's were my last family of 2009 (with only 8 hours till 2010) and what a way to end the year!

"...You can feel the love between the mom and kids..." [Dawn Cappini]

That popcorn was a life saver and I HAD to include it for fun!

Engle Family

When it comes to photo shoots the most stressful thing for me is finding the right locations. Gathering ideas from the client always helps. With the knowledge that the Engle's were more outdoor oriented I set out. You would think that living in scenic St. George it would be simple but that is not the case. Most areas have been over used and abused so it creates a challenge. If I don't feel it and begin to imagine how I want to shoot the clients I move on. The moment I fell upon this location I had what I call, "photo shoot location seizures," (PSLS). When I have that it's all over your set for a great time and location. :-)

Lucas

Way back when it was still warm outside I did some shots for my youngest brother. Mom was tired of the "Olan Mills" school photos and wanted me instead. I thought I had posted these but when you get busy you sometimes loose track of many things. Lucas was not into having pictures done, but when all was said and done he was a rock star. (only after he didn't need to be in the white dress shirt would he have fun.)

Throw Your Hands in the Air!

I would just like to thank all my clients over this past year and everyone else that has made it possible for me to be taking on such an amazing vision. Thanks so much for choosing me to photograph you out of all the photographers around and referring me to your family and friends. I can't wait to work with many of you again as your families grow and new adventures take you places.

Merry Christmas and have a safe and Happy New Year!

Ramsey Family Prt 2

If you recall to the late summer work I posted you will recognize this family. I freakn love the Ramsey's! (I realize I say that about all the people I work with but it's true.) I keep telling them that I will be putting a book together of just their sons facial expressions, I'm sure it will be a big hit for many coffee tables. You'll see what I mean...

We had been trying to get him to do a serious look and all it took was for mom to tell him to look like his Uncle Kole (I shot his wedding back in March).

Stucki Family

I love working with families with small children. You never know what you'll be dealing with, case in point, the Stucki family. On one hand you had their son who was all about hamming it up for the camera and then their daughter who wanted nothing to do with the camera. In fact she would turn her head if she noticed me looking at her with it, but we managed to catch her looking in a good number :-) Here they are... The Stucki's...
